The punk documentary discussed here before is playing in various cities. I thought it was more entertaining than most punk rock docs, and the Mike Ness parts are pretty funny.

Cannot wait until it hits San Antonio/Austin areas..
Here's a link to a video from the the San Francisco Film Festival showing of Punk's Not Dead. Click on the pic of the producer, dated May 7. (Cameo by my boyfriend in the last few seconds saying "punks not dead"!)

im pretty suprised that it is not showing in Austin.. Since we are the "live music capital of the world." This would be great to see at the Alamo Draft House
YEAH, YOU ARE RIGHT, BUT WHEN IT DOES HIT AUSTIN YOU CAN BE SURE THAT THE ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE WILL DEFINITELY GET IT AS WELL AS THE ONE HERE IN SAN ANTONIO TOO!
Glenn - if you see it coming my way let the board know.. im not to good with keeping up with things.. i know they are suppose to release a germs movies as well titled what we do is secret.. when does come out.. we should get the rest of the austin/san antonio/new braunfels board members and check it out!
Sounds good! I believe the movie about The Germs is going to be a big production movie done by Hollywood; not a documentary film from what I read... They are going to have some "big name heart-throb" to play Darby C.
the real band plus the darby in the movie toured last summer.. played a few warped tour dates..
